Cancer Center Room 0964, an old unused Freezer Farm Lab, was renovated into a Laser Lab. Modifications involved removing existing cabinets and shelves, refinishing the floor, installing new base-molding, repainting walls and door frames, refinishing wooden doors, modifying plumbing and electrical, and replacing ceiling tiles.
A large, vibration dampening air table will be moved into 0964 from adjacent room 0962 with its associated optical components and equipment. Then room 0962 will be renovated in the same style and reconfigured as a data collection/computer office area.
